This is where you write down how your team actually operates day to day. Not aspirational values — observed practice.

Cadence

  • Daily: what (if anything) happens every day, and where it happens.
  • Weekly: standing meetings, weekly reviews, planning rituals.
  • Monthly / quarterly: longer-horizon reviews, retros, planning.

Decisions

  • How small decisions get made: who decides, when, where the decision is recorded.
  • How larger decisions get made: who's consulted, how trade-offs are surfaced, where the decision is recorded.

Communication

  • Where work-in-progress lives.
  • Where finished work gets shared.
  • What's expected response time for messages, and where to escalate when something's blocking.
